Not that cookies are evil in and of themselves (they're how you can stay logged on to a website for more than one click) but sites, advertisers, and companies that track and aggregate user behavior can infer a great deal about you by following all those cookies they plop onto your browser. They watch your browsing habits, share your information with one another (you agreed to it when you didn't read that "terms and conditions" blob of text), and mine the data with fancy statistics.

I actually clicked on a link to this on the NY Times out of curiosity, thinking it would be an ad. It's actually the way to opt-out of lots of tracking.

Air Force(ed to wait) One

The pilot got us into McCarren right before they shut the airport for the departure of Air Force One, and we were the last in. Above us, planes one the path to landing were flying overhead and past.

An announcement came that were the first to be stuck on the ground; the airport was being shut down.

We had a perfect view of the soon-to-be White House but the Secret Service told us to move in toward the gate where we couldn't do bad stuff.

Mullingar is a small town about an hour West of Dublin and where we stayed when we visited Ballinlough Castle. It's a gritty little town but entirely pleasant enough. The roundabouts are little more than large speed bumps, so when you forget to go around, you can just go over the center.
